Raisins

Raisins are a type of grape that has been dried for about three weeks. Grapes darken when dried and turn dark brown. A wide variety of grapes are used to produce raisins. The size, taste and color depend on the type of grape used. In the United States, raisins are typically made from the same type of grape. In Australia, however, raisins are made exclusively from larger grape varieties such as Muscat, Lexia and Waltham Cross, and are often larger for this reason. Raisins are dark in color, have a soft texture, have a sweet taste, and are usually larger than raisins and raisins.
